Primark Pure Glow Palette review!

Primark have been killing it with the beauty launches recently, it’s safe to say you’re going to see alot from their new ranges on the blog over the coming months, and today is no exception because I’m back with a beauty bang , with this Primark Pure Glow Palette review!

So unless you’ve been hiding you will have no doubt seen the hype all over the beauty blogging world for the new Primark Minerals range. The range contains a lovely mix of eyeshadow and highlighting palettes that some bloggers are calling dupes for well known brands, but at a fraction of the cost.

I had not set out to buy anything from the range, because I really have been trying to curb my makeup spending habits, but when I saw this palette I really could not resist!

As you can see the packaging is lovely, it really stands out from some of the other Primark beauty launches because it seems like they really have tried to make this look and feel high end. I love the marble effect and the shiny bronze which contrast beautifully.

Inside the palette, you get 4 quite large pans of highlighter, each a different shade. They are perfect for me because I have quite a light skin tone, but I think they would work well on most people. They are quite soft, but that does not take away from how pigmented these highlighters are!

The first shade in the palette is “Desert”. This is a really white highlighting shade that is almost silver when applied to the skin. It gives that subtle glow and is really perfect for day time use. I ¬†also love the shade “Eden” which is a gorgeous, girl pink shade. Perfect for putting right above your contour to really make your cheeks pop! I use this one quite alot, it’s a great shade for using day to day in your normal makeup routine.

“Glimmer” is a gold shade perfect for all you beach babes out there. This really adds something special to your makeup look and is perfect for summer nights! I love to use this one to highlight the corner of my eye lately, as I’ve been into really gold, metallic eyeshadow looks too. The final shade “firefly” makes me feel like a bronzed godesses. I love using this shade on it’s own, without any blusher because it really makes your features stand out. It’s just perfect when you want to create that bronzed glow that you cannot get natuarally! I also add this to my decoultage when going on a night out just to give me that extra glow!

As I mentioned above, these highlighters really are super pigmented. They are soft but they last ages once applied and really stand out on the skin. I love how little you have to apply to get the look you want. I tend to sweep them over cheeks, nose, cupids bow and the middle of the brows using a fan brush and a light hand, this really helps to give give me that gorgeous subtle glow that seems to be so on trend right now!

For me, the Primark beauty range is so on point right now! Along with Makeup Revolution, it is currently up there with my faves! They keep bringing us the latest crazes in the beauty world without the hefty price tag. This palette is amazing quality for the price tag and I can’t wait to try more from the range!

Have you tried this Primark Pure Glow Palette, what do you think?
