So, I’m back from my jollies. I always hate coming home and getting back to reality, but i’m getting there slowly! Before I went I was delighted to be contacted by Simply Be asking if I would like to share my plus size holiday styling tips with you all and I was delighted to be able to choose two items to take to Malta with me!
Simply Be have an amazing range of plus size holiday wear and accessories to suit most budgets, with it’s own dedicated section on the website, making it really easy for you to shop fuss free for all your holiday attire. You can see the holiday range be clicking here!
With the items I chose, I decided to share both a daytime and an evening look to wear whilst on holiday with you guys! so here goes!
I don’t know about you, but when I’m on holiday and I’m not spending my day lounging around the pool reading I like to wear something light and comformtable. This Pom Pom Dress £39.00, is perfect for wearing when it’s hot outside because it’s made from a really light and airy material! While you are on holiday it’s perfect for walking around the resort when doing a spot of gift shopping or for a day when you’re out on an excursion discovering all that your destination has to offer!
So the last couple of weeks have not been my best, I really haven’t been well and this has meant that the blog has majorly suffered this March! But fear not, because I have been scheduling posts for you lovely lot this week and today I thought I’d share with you an outfit I wore recently, featuring a really colourful So Fabulous printed dress.
So if you’re not familiar with the So Fabulous range, it’s sold online at Very and Little woods. I personally think that most of the range is trendy and fashionable and it offers another option for us plus size ladies. I don’t often shop at Very anymore, but I got an email about a sale and couldn’t resist a little peep!
Hi everyone! I’m relatively new to wearing jeans, it’s become alot more comfortable for me somewhere along the way to embracing and loving my body! Today I’m sharing with you an outfit featuring these plus size skinny jeans that were kindly sent to me by Simply Be!
Being plus size it’s really hard to find comfy jeans that fit well and are great quality! The first pair I ever bought were from Simply Be and pretty much all of my jean collection is made up of jeans from them. What I love about their range of jeans is that there are so many different styles so even if you’re not a skinny jeans kinda girl like me there will be something for you! You can check out the range by clicking here!
Hello and welcome to the first instalment of Dress Up Friday! This is all about taking the well know dress down Friday and turning it into something glam! This month I have chosen to feature the Boohoo Plus Elizabeth Midi Dress!
I love the Boohoo Plus range, not only does it provide so many options for us plus size babes, it’s extremely affordable too so it’s a must if you’re looking for affordable fashion!
Because I’m so short, I often worry about buying things that are described as “midi” mainly because they tend to sit at my ankles! This dress is perfect though, it is perhaps a little longer at the back than I would like, but because of the Hi-Lo detailing it really works for me.
The fabric is quite thick and I love the Bardot style with the fold down detailing. The skirt is pleated at the front and really full, I definitely get a 50’s vibe from it!
Wow, I can’t believe it’s the 19th December already! I’ve been busy lately with parties and celebrations, but I wanted to share one of my latest purchases with you today. I recently bought this River Island Plus Bardot Swing Dress and for my first purchase from them, I was really excited!
I wore this on Saturday for the first time, I went to the annual family gathering and as soon as I put it on I fell in love. The bardot neckline is so on trend and I love the fact that it has long sleeves. I love the colour for this season and how effortless it is to wear this dress with anything!
Happy Friday! and thank god it’s here! I have plans this weekend so I’m looking forward to getting dressed up and seeing my friends! Today i’m bringing you the next instalment in the party perfect series with this post, plus size party outfit ideas! With so much to choose from on the high street now, I have chosen three outfits which I think you are going to love!
Bodysuit – Boohoo Plus £12.oo, Skirt – New Look Curves £22.99, Black Velvet Clutch – New Look £17.99, Shoes – Simply Be £30.00
Everyone knows the little black dress is the party staple for every woman, we all have that go to black dress that we wear all the time, but what if you were to switch things up a bit! This outfit takes the timeless little black dress and turns it into a completely new concept! Even though everything is still black, I love the combo of this Boohoo Plus bodysuit and New Look Curves tu-tu skirt. The style of the bodysuit means there is no need for a necklace and you could add a pop of christmas colour with a blazer jacket!
Hi everyone! It’s the start of yet another week! Im optimistic though as half term looms, it means that work is fairly quiet for me. I’m back today bringing you a review of this lovely Boohoo Plus Lily lace detail swing dress.
What I love about the Boohoo Plus range is that it’s stylish and affordable. It caters for every occasion and there is always something on the site that I’m lusting after. What I find hard to accept with the Boohoo plus range though is the sizing, sometimes it can be so off and has been for me on many occasions!
I recently made an order and chose to buy this swing dress. It’s not something I would normally choose, but I purchaseda similar cami a few months ago and loved that so thought I would give this a go.
After some drama with the delivery, my items arrived and I fell in love with this dress as soon as I put it on. The sizing was spot on for this I’m happy to report though. I’m wearing a UK 18.
Hi everyone, welcome to the start of another week! Today I wanted to share with you this gorgeous outfit, featuring a Yours Clothing skater skirt!
Yours Clothing for me does not always cater for my personal style when I try to shop in store. I see something I love online and then have NEVER found it in store. I spoke to the lady in my local store and asked how they choose what to stock and she told me that the stock changes week by week depending on what sells well. This makes it hard to know whether I will actually like something as I cannot try it on before I buy it, but I took a chance and ordered this skater skirt anyway and I’m glad I did!
I love anything skater style and I adore this skirt! To me it’s a fifties style with a modern twist, the double layer style has pleats the whole way round which make it so full and glamorous!
This was a brand I had never heard of, until now! I was browsing for clothes on the internet and stumbled upon the Lipsy Website and enter Fashion Union Curve!
It’s a small plus size collection featuring pretty prints and on trend pieces that are to die for! I chose to go for this printed shift dress and I must say when it arrived, I was not as impressed as I hoped I would be!
I’m wearing a UK size 20 here and would advise you to size up when buying from this range!
Back to Monday and back to reality for me after a weekend away in Lincoln to attend a wedding! I knew that this was probably going to be the last chance I would get to really dress up this year, so I wanted to choose something beautiful. In the end I settled on this lovely Little Mistress Curve dress from Simply Be!
I was in love with this dress as soon as it arrived! I adore how cute and girly it is and to me it was perfect to wear to a wedding reception.
It is fully lined and even has a lovely layer of netting underneath to help it keep its shape.
